Deception has arrived!

Parallel TCG’s third expansion, Deception, drops on Sept. 30 – here’s what to expect

You can now find all of the Deception cards on Parallel Stats and updated in the Deck Tracker and Twitch Overlay! Parallel continues to expand with a third set that promises to shake up the meta. Following 2023’s Planetfall and 2024’s Aftermath expansions, the new set, Deception, will launch on September 30, 2025. The announcement positions it as the smallest set to date and part of a broader push to refresh Parallel’s card ecosystem.

90 new cards and a community‑focused distribution

The Deception expansion will add 90 new cards to Parallel TCG. Like previous expansions, the new cards will introduce fresh strategies and encourage players to experiment with new deck compositions.

One of the most notable aspects of this set is its distribution model. Parallel Studios has stated that half of the Collector Packs will be given to the community for free, while the remaining packs will be available for purchase on OpenSea. The free allocation is meant as a thank you to players who have supported the project since its inception.

Release date and purchasing details

The studio has committed to releasing the new set on September 30, 2025. In earlier expansions, packs were sold on the Base network using the $PRIME token; Aftermath packs cost 11 PRIME each, though Deception’s final price has not yet been announced. Parallel has encouraged players to watch its official channels for pack‑sale details as the launch approaches.

Integration with other games

Parallel’s ecosystem extends beyond the TCG itself. The Deception packs will also feature in Fantasy Top’s Season 5. PlayToEarn reports that 250 Deception packs have been allocated as prizes in the fantasy‑sports platform’s tournaments and events, alongside more than $100k worth of PRIME rewards. This collaboration highlights Parallel’s growing influence across Web3 gaming.

Looking ahead

The Deception launch comes amid a busy period for Parallel Studios. Alongside the expansion, the studio plans to burn 90 percent of the existing card supply from older sets, such as Planetfall and Aftermath, to reinvigorate the card economy. A fourth set, Haven, is slated for 2026.

The September 30 release promises a fresh wave of content and community engagement. Keep an eye on Parallel’s official channels and ParallelStats.com for updates on pack sales, card previews and gameplay changes.
